Instructions
  • Use this technique to divide youth into small groups for an activity.
  • Determine the number of youth you want in each group.
  • Divide that number by the total number of participants.
  • Have youth count off by that number. For example, if you want four groups and you have 20 youth, have youth count off by five.
  • Explain where small groups should go, and relay the rest of your activity instructions.
